Chemistry Tutor Trinity Park, QLD
Tutoring is essentially an aid for student's learning in schools. The most important thing that a chemistry tutor can do is to ignite students' passion for learning. This can be acheived through helping them with questions and concepts that they find confusing, guiding them to develop their own problem solving strategies and most importantly…

Chemistry Tutor Smithfield, QLD
A good tutor will help students develop the problem-solving skills necessary so that they are confident in their abilities when faced with a difficult question outside the session. A tutor should be there to guide the student towards their own conclusions, whilst ensuring all gaps in understanding are filled. Importantly, a chemistry tutor must…

Chemistry Tutor
I believe that it is important for a tutor to have trust in, and give confidence to their student to help them reach their potential. Tutors should be supportive towards their students and do their best to answer any questions the student may have and provide resources to help them with their learning. I believe my main strength would be active…

Local Reviews

Lance has definitely helped Abbi improve her understanding with her mathematical queries. He is also a very polite, punctual and patient tutor.

Inside Trinity BeachTutoring Sessions

Content Covered

Year 4 student Sophia worked on reading analogue and digital clocks and converting between 12-hour and 24-hour time, as well as subtraction with decimals and multiplication involving three-digit numbers.

In Year 8, Layla focused on solving simultaneous equations using substitution and elimination methods, plus revision of ratios for an upcoming test.

Meanwhile, Year 10 student Eve tackled trigonometry basics—finding side lengths and angles in triangles—and reviewed similarity and congruence questions from her past exam to strengthen understanding.

Recent Challenges

A Year 7 student arrived to the lesson without their study gear, making it impossible to attempt planned exercises—"didn't have gear for study," as noted.

In Year 9, missing a homework sheet led to retracing previous work instead of building new skills.

One senior student was observed spending time correcting formatting and interpretation errors on an assignment, rather than progressing with analysis.

For another high schooler, not completing assigned homework repeatedly meant "she could not finish her assigned Homework again" and continued struggling with factorising equations due to missed practice opportunities.

These moments left valuable learning time underused and confidence wavering.

Recent Achievements

A tutor in Trinity Beach noticed a high school student who previously hesitated to start assignments now brings her own work and specific questions for test prep, showing new initiative.

Another older student, after struggling with complex tree diagrams, managed to finish the worksheet independently and started applying the method to more advanced problems.

In a younger session, one student who used to rely on hints for division began solving most problems alone and even corrected mistakes from previous homework without prompting.

Last week, she finished all of her assigned fraction multiplication tasks with no extra help needed.

What they say about our tutoring

quote

We have been very happy with Lawrence.  He has been patient and on time every time.

We have been extremely happy with our tutor David, and will be recommending Ezy-Math to friends. Sharon (our daughter in Year 9) has moved up almost 50 marks in Maths and has gone from being a C student to an A student.  She received 92% for her yearly exams. We are also very happy with our two sons' improvements as well.

We are most pleased with Jonathan.  Jonathan is extremely diligent and personable.  Jack is surprisingly enjoying his sessions with Jonathan. So far the results exceed our expectations.

Local Spots for Tutoring

If you'd prefer not to have lessons at home, tutoring can also take place at a local library—such as Smithfield Library—or at your child's school (with permission), like Tropical North Learning Academy - Trinity Beach State School.
